I would like to do some Christmas pillows for gifts. My question would be......if you were doing two pillows for the same person, would you do the pillows the same or do two different. I plain on doing nice big fluffy throw ones, but confused about doing them the same or not.
Thanks for any help!!

Why not matching but not the 'exactly' same?

Co-ordinating fabrics and trim. Mix them up.

I agree. A set, but not exactly the same.

Debra....check out retailers online (ex: Pottery Barn, Ethan Allen) and take a good look at how they decorate with pillows. They might give you some insight as to the same color groupings, yet different style pillows.

Hey debra,
A while ago a friend of mine made me a snowman pillow out of white felt. He wasnt your regular pillow though......He had a huge red pillow hat that had a "pocket" so it would go on his head. He also had felt stick arms and two red mittens that you can slide onto his stick hands. It was very cute and my D plays with it every year. I couldnt find him this past year because of the recent move, but I am sure he is still packed up some where. He looked super duper easy to make though, and i have said for several years that I was going to make some to give as gifts.
