This is a link to an article in this weeks paper about a quilting company who collaberated with a group to make quilts -- except the people have special needs that make these! What a wonderful idea! http://www.chicagotribune.com/features/home/chi-0608130283aug13,1,7523821.story?coll=chi-leisurehome-hed&ctrack=1&cset=true Peggy

Hmmm, I clicked on the link and it worked, and I am not a member of Chicago Tribune. It is a collaberation between funquilts.com and a Chicago group that has individuals (young & old) with disabilities. They taught them how to use a sewing machine, cut out material, quilt them, etc. The article stated that most people don't think that those with disabilities could sew, cut patterns, etc.., and this group proved them wrong! I just thought it was so awesome, since I have a friend whose son has Downs. While he is still young, she is planning for when he finishes school and can get a job in the work force. If you're reallly intersted, i can send you a copy of the article, since the link isn't working for everyone. Just let me know! Peggy
