I have a Viking Scandinavia 200 and am having a heck of a time with the ruffler foot. I will explain what is happening the best I can---Sometimes it pleats evenly other times the pleats slip out---it makes the tuck, then the tuck pulls out.. Seems the cottons do the best, but anything light or heavy I have the most problems with. I have tried adjusting the presser foot, and the stitch length, but that doesnt help. Not sure if the tension would have anything to with the pleats slipping out. SOOOO if anybody can help I would be eternally grateful.
