I have just found out some really good news. Most of our site content has been found. Some of it is scattered but all is not lost.

We are having a re-design done of the site with a new contemporary homepage and content pages.

I am also going to have some work done on these discussion forums. I will let you know when so there is no panic amongst the members. They may have to be closed down for a while. (I am thinking a day) Of course there may be some glitches when this happens but we will get thru it.

Many thanks for all your understanding and patience while we resurrect ourselves once again. I am going to send out a newsletter to this effect shortly.

Is that a deliberate pun Stephi!
I still get the placeholder page but will wait patiently like a good girlie Mary, glad things aren't all lost Mary. Didn't you have to go through all this last year? or was it longer ago than that?

These #%$&* computers. They're our best friends and our worst nightmares rolled into one! :bluesad:

Don't worry about doing it as fast as you can. We're patient and as long as we have the boards the withdrawels won't be too bad. Take your time and do it so that you'll be proud, happy with it, and not tearing your hair out too badly. (Besides, at our age we never know where that hair will appear when it grows back! :bluewink: )

The breakdown is the old silver lining thing. It's caused you to jumpstart wonderful ideas that I bet you anything have been brewing in the back of your brain anyway.

I look forward to the "new" site and know it'll be wonderful.

Good Luck, Lennie

J***A** hackers...I wish they'd find something OTHER than hacking into peoples sites to keep them occupied....of course then they might be out killing people...oh well...at least they left most of it...WE can make up the rest...we're all good at talking. :bluewink: :bg: :bg: :bg:

Mary,

You never cease to amaze me. This wonderful site has been hacked at a few times now and by golly you "dust yourself off and start all over again".

I am very proud to be part of your sewing circle!!

Thank you for keeping the "faith"!!

This is great news!! I love this board and I cannot believe that people have nothing better to do than wreak havoc on things like this!
