I posted this in the machine talk forun with no replys...maybe someone can help here.....I have a Viking Scandinavia 200 and am having a heck of a time with the ruffler foot.
I will explain what is happening the best I can---Sometimes it pleats evenly other times the pleats slip out---it makes the tuck, then the tuck pulls out.. Seems the quilting cottons do the best, but anything lighter or heavier I have the most problems with. I have tried adjusting the presser foot, and the stitch length, but that doesnt help. Not sure if the tension would have anything to with the pleats slipping out. Since I do sew alot, I change my needles often too.
SOOOO if anybody can help I would be eternally grateful.
