My husband gave me my birthday present today. (2 weeks early). Its a fabric calculator. I am sitting here learning to use it. I have wanted one for so long.

Oh, I've seen that at Hobby Lobby, they look to be very cool (and would definetely save the last minute run to get more of that one fabric you're all out of). Ticia |

It works great. You can put in the size of block, how many blocks you need, size of the finished quilt top and if you are using sashing and borders and it comes up with how much fabric you need. There are lots of different combinetions. I am still learning.

My kids are having a big party for me this year (big 5-0) I think I am getting a new gas grill. I have only grilled out twice this year because I hate the old grill so much. I have hinted & the party is going to be a cookout @ DDs house.
