Well, seven large boxes actually. That's the stuff on bolts -- most of it. A couple medium boxes took care of the rest.
And I still have some to mail to Texas.
This is insane.

it is disturbing how it grows when you try to put it in one place - hang in there Dorothy - you can do it.

"i saw stash in a box"and laughed then i saw it was 7 boxes and felt a little better!i have a wall unit plus :bg: a hanging rack full.i tend to buy fabric i like from walmarts $2 in three or four yard lengths so i can decide what i'll actually use it for later then when i decide i hang it with the pattern and any zippers etc pinned to it until i have time to make it.

I keep mine in rubbermaid totes and have no good idea on how many I have 7?8?9? somewhere around there, hang tight Dorothy, I got my machines etc unpacked today, have yet to sort out the fabric stash (did put some lace trim on the bottom of my daughters jeans though, felt good to even do just that!)

Megan.....I love your picture. HOWEVER, when reading your profile I noticed that in no way shape or form could possibly resemble the matronly looking woman tenderly clutching her singer to her bossom.

My youngest is three days younger than you. We just drove her back to school. When does school start for you?

I told my daughter I would gladly give her my little Bernina for her to take to school and she could make some quick cash when she wanted to by hemming jeans for kids. She didn't take me up on the offer as she said her room is too small for that. I use to do that when I went to school on an old White machine.

Take care and work hard in school..... Bwhahahahahaha the last thing you want to hear on the sewing forum :bolt:

ps. so where are you storing your fabric stash?
