I spoke with my SIL yesterday and she asked me if I have seen any Dark Green Fleece with Tennis Rackets on it. I have checked all the stores around me, if any of you have seen it please PM me as to where you found it. She wants to make a no-sew throw for her Grandson ( my Great Nephew) for a Christmas Gift. |

I read about this in a craft mag. maybe you could try it if all else fails. If you could find a large fabric stamp of a racket, you could use automatic (liquid) dishwasher soap, with bleach, to stamp rackets onto solid green fleece.n I'm going to do it with denim and a rose stamp for a suprise skirt for dd#3. If you have an embroidery machine, you could find a racquet design and embroider it all over the fleece. Otherwise, I don' t know. I just looked through 59 pages of fleece at Hancock Fabrics online and there is anything and everything you can imagine on fleece, but no tennis racquet. Also, for anyone looking for collegiate fleece, Hancock Fabrics online has almost every university in the US in stock. Patsy Patsy

I don't know if this will help but you may need to call individual Hancocks stores. My store tells me that there are two types of merchandise there. One is the "stuff" that they keep regularly in stock and the other is individual fabrics and prints that are sent by corporate. For instance, Last year the band needed 30 yards of Panne velvet. All the stores had it, but not all of them had the same colors...the green that we needed was scattered in stores all over town. No store had enough and many of the stores did not get the green in at all but got a different color in its place. In some cases they may be able to say how many bolts they want but not what the print or color may be. For that reason, I would suggest that you call around to individual Hancocks in your area, you might "get lucky".
