Hi
I don't know whether I can help or not as I have the Janome 10001 which is the earlier machine and that has the large Gigahoop. I have managed to use it but it does need a lot of care. I split the design in Embird editor and then put it back together with customizer. It sounds silly but then it will copy across to the machine in the two halves. If your hoop is similar you mark the two centres by using the template. Select the right hand half of the design to sew and stitch that out. Take the hoop out of the machine and move the fastening clip to the oposite side and put the hoop back into the machine and stitch out the left side. You have to be extremely accurate with the start position for the design halves to match up accurately. I tried it first with a very simple design like a square or rectangle to get the hang of it. I hope that is of some help. If you think I can help any more please get in touch. I imagine your machine is very similar.
Have fun !!!
