Hey....thats an idea...I have my 4 yr old Kenmore Elite Calypso washer and dryer in my garage, just sitting there empty (can't get rid of them due to a class action suit against Whirlpool/Kenmore) I can turn them into stash holders and my husband will never know !!!! (yeah right...)...but ya know...if you DID have a fridge and or a freezer that didn't work, keeping fabric in it would be a good thing. It's protected and easy to get at. Chrys

I can turn them into stash holders and my husband will never know !!!!: But for those who have old appliances hanging around and think of using them for storage without your husbands knowledge...be careful...you may come home one day and the old appliances may have been disposed of...stash & all! I have been known to hide christmas gifts in coolers that are out in our garage Its somewhere men never look in the winter time and it may be a good place to hide stash

When I had a small cross stitch shop I had one customer that would carry her stuff home in sanitary pad bags and tampon boxes. Her husband never looked there. Dorothy |

Dorothy, That was some deviuos planning on her part. I dont think I could hide enough of the material in one of those boxes...........

Strange to tell I bought some tampons only an hour ago and as the cashier picked up the box all 32 fell out. She was so embarressed - I had taught her only a few years earlier. Didn't bother me - "Just shove them back in" was all I said. I don't think I would get away with the tampon box cross stitch ploy - Tony knows when I am due on better than I do.. love and kisses, Jan
