We got to meet in person several internet friends today (9-9-06). Some from SWN and some from other sewing sites. Mamadus (Mo) came in from Avon Lake, Bakermom (Pat) came in from Wadsworth, Sewhappie (Naomi) came in from the south, Barberton & Rettabug from Hudson. We all met at Bucca de Beppo's, which is a wild Italian restaurant with GREAT food!! In a Southwest Cleveland suburb It was great fun to put faces with names & talk about our families, our projects & our machines as well as YOU guys!! Were your ears burning today??? Right above our table was a picture of a woman sitting at a SEWING MACHINE!!!!! If you ever get a chance to meet up with some of the folks that you post with, DO IT!! It is a really nice way to solidify some friendships & get to know one another a bit better. Mo likes the hot stuff....she took ALL the peperochini peppers off the salad. Which was big enought for 10 people to eat!!!!! Pat doesn't care for seafood or hot stuff. Naomi loved the *free* chocolate dessert. Rett will eat anything except calamari. We were well into trying to plan another gathering before the snow flies. One that would include the gals who live farther south. Lots of neat places to shop & eat in Amish country. (Berlin, OH in Amish Country and to include shopping for FABRIC!!!!!!). We will post here well in advance so that you can plan on attending. If you live in a neighboring State and would like to attend just let us know, we would love to have you! There are pictures that I will try to upload and share with you. |
