Pardon the vent,

I am getting to the point where its hard to get comfy and stay asleep at night, and last night was horrible for me up and down and hot then cold. But after waking up 20 minutes late this morning and rushing my daughter to school my hubbie calls and is not in the best of moods. His car will ocasionally leak on the passenger side winshield down to the floor board. It only happens when its a heavy rain and if the car is parked level. Last night we had the occasional sprinkle and the car was angled in our yard but it flooded anyway. Sad part is that he is an IT guy and he was supposed to do a new computer install first thing this morning. The computer was on the floor in the back seat of his car. Brand new computer wet about 5-6" up, inside and out. Our car insurance is paying for it but he still had to tell the client it would be another week for thier new computer to come in.
Then I got to work and our bucket that unloads our cement is leaking, and dropping cement dust all over the river and our dock, not to mention the ship. We where already not having much luck with this ship since it came in on 9-11 and the crew is non green carded. Oh well tomarrow is another day!

And you can't even have a couple drinks to chill.
Poor Stephi. Poor, poor Stephi.
Does that help?

Oh dear [[[ ]]]

Why not have your husband put some clear silicon caulking on the windshield. (if he can't get it fixed). Either that or put some plastic on the windshield when you know it's going to rain.

(here in FL it's a free fix (no deduct), on your ins. if your windshield is damaged.)

Tell me about it dorothy!! My friends are taking me with them this weekend to be thier DD so I can watch them drink and unwind, LOL. Its ok I did the same to one of them when she was preggers.

The windshield has been replaced twice on the car. He was t boned by a drunk old lady some time back and no one is able to find where it leaks exactly. I have threatened to cauk the entire engine block and that whole side of the car, including his glove box. Its my side of the car so when it does that I have to put my feet on the mushy carpet!!

Today its still raining but the car doesnt seem to be leaking today, LOL, I should start taking bids on if it will leak or not. And the nice thing about rain at my work is that our local blue heron will just about walk right up to my window. Hes looking at his reflection and doesnt realize I am right behind it. He is very pretty and elegant.

Dragon flies like my husband car...it's the color of clear water...sort of a really light lavander blue, metallic.
They hover over it all the time...poor things..

I guess that explains the leaks...just like in a house sometimes ya never can figure out where they're comming from.

Dragons fly like your husbands car??? Yuu have a flying car?? Are you related to the Weesley's?

We had a Ford Anglia that leaked - I wore wellies when it rained - the water mostly came up through the floor. A friends Deux chevaux leaked down the sides in the rain so for him I was tempted to put up an umbrella inside. I think that was more because the cars are kind of poppered together.

We had a leak in one of our cars and thought it was the windshield but in actuality it was coming from a hole in the floor! Another car we had, had a leak in one of the side fixed windows.
