I read that yesterday. Interesting isn't it? Thought about posting it myself.

Have to take exception to the following quote; Jeez Louise!!!

"Gary Gardner, president of the coalition, says his group sometimes has no choice but to get tough, even with the little old ladies everyone agrees constitute the largest demographic of embroiderers."

Holy Moley!!!! Lennie

Makes me a little worried about who and where I can download from.... Oh well, we'll see, what all happens. Of course I'm not planning on selling anything.

Ticia.. there are lots of great independent digitizers out there that you can buy from, who don't charge the huge prices that most of the big guys charge... check on www.threadstop.com and www.sewforum.com for lists of sites for designs... do be careful about buying on E-bay, although there are some independent digitizers on e-bay, there are also pirates...and if you're new to embroidery its hard to know the difference... most of the independent digitizers will offer some freebies on their sites so you can try their designs and see if you like how their designs stitch out.... off the bat I would tell you to check out ...

www.atimetostitch.com
www.emblibrary.com

also, the various machine manufacturers' sites usually have free designs too... Have Fun!!
