Hi! I just got a Janome 300E and Digitizer 10000 and I was wondering if there are any tricks or tips that anyone could share with me? Anything would be appreciated. I'm going to play with it tonight. Stef |

Your 300E will only read folder #5, 100 designs. So if you have a lot of designs, I'd look into a LOT of flash cards. (cheap at www.jr.com) I myself own 30, 64 mb flashcards and 2 adapters. (I have the 300E, 10000/10001, 11,000, 6500QP and the Compulock.)

The 3ooE doesnt plug into the computer at all. You have to do your digitizing, and then put in on the flas card and put your flash card in the 300e. Hope that helps! May your bobbin always be full-

The flash card adapter is only about $40 though and is the same as many digital camera adapters so many people already have one. THat is a considerable savings and much more convient than a box.

I just purchased a Janome 300e. I am not able to find a compact flash card smaller than 512 MB. I went to the website that you posted, and could not find a 64MB card there either. I wish that Janome dealers would carry the cards!

I use a 1 Gig card and it works fine. Janome said it was fine to use when i called them. Much better than carrying around several smaller cards.
May your bobbin always be full-

Hey ladies, are you chatting about the type a to type b adapters? with compact flash memory cards? I had found them only online, none in stores around here, then when I went to order them online, they were either out of stock or "in stock" but still had to wait 6 weeks for delivery. I got mine at COMPUSA, with a 512mb, which works just fine in my Janome 10001. I am glad I was able to get it, because it seems that they are being phased out with the memory usb sticks so popular and convenient now. Bonny |
