HEY SUSIE!!!!!!! COME OUT COME OUT WHERE EVER YOU ARE!!!!!! WE MISS YOU!!!!! Has anyone seen or heard from her? Did she fall in the Mississippi or the Gulf? Maybe her kids have tied her up and she being held hostage!!!!!! Then maybe she's turned into the Mad Hatter of the Sewig Room!!!! |

Thought I would share the note I got from Susie today... I"M HERE!!!!! Hubby has been working nights and my life is all turned up side down because I have to be quiet in the day and try to clean at night. Being quiet is not my deal so I usually leave and find somewhere to go. Quilting shops and shopping!!!!! YEAHHHH Then at night I fight like crazy to get the housework done so I can hit the road during the day and not feel so quilty. But I'm here and just haven't had time to get on the puter much for any long period of time. I've been checking my emails and sending jokes on to you have you been getting them? |

 I'm here and working my big hinnie off. As I said in my letter to SewHappie my husband has been working at night now and I stay busy cleaning house. I've been quilting and I think I'm in love. I have about 3 started and I have to finish my siggy quilt I did with all my buddies here on SWN before Katrina. That one is on the top my list to finish. Tomorrow I have to go to the doctors with my DIL, she's pregnant and the baby is due October 25th but she's showing signs of high blood pressure so they are going to watch her close.......... they may have to take the baby sooner then her due date. It's a girl and her name will be Emily Marie. Her Mother, which is really her grandmother who raised her because her real Mother died when she was 2 yrs old is giving her a baby shower because she lost everything in Katrina. She had enough clothes for the last baby, Paige that is only 2 yrs old now, to outfit six babies but it's all gone now. Well I'm off to bed now. I'll try to pop in every now and then. My poor neighbor that was coming over every day thinks I evaporated off the earth too so don't feel too bad. I'm here just busy busy busy.  Love all of you NITEEEEEBy the way Mary the new boards look nice and I love the spell check!!! Now if I could only find out how to post a pic I'd send all of you some pics of my new life. Hugs Susie I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Hi Susie! Glad you are doing well and enjoying your sewing/shopping! Hope your DIL is doing OK-keep us posted on her and make sure she follows Dr's orders!

Thanks Esrun, When is your grandbaby's due date in November? She's suppose to deliver on Oct 30 but they are taking it on the 25th because she delievers by c-section. I took her today and she's doing good. Her blood pressure is down now and she's going to watch it she knows it can go up and down so she's not suppose to go back for two weeks but I'm giving her my blood pressure cup and she is going to check it regularly from now on. The last baby was born right after we evacuated for one of the other hurricanes that didn't hit New Orleans. We rode around for 2 days sleeping on the floor of a realitives business and when she came home after that ordeal she was full of fluid and he took the baby early because of her pressure being high from the fluid. But of course the doctor don't remember all that detail all he sees is her chart saying she had high pressure the last time and I think he became alarmed last week when it was borderline high. But we are going to watch her close. I just hope the ultrasound is correct, my sewing room is full of pink froo froo. LOL
