Hello everyone! I do sew quite a bit but do not have confidence when it comes to sewing clothing, especially for others. My son needs some hunting pants finished in 5 days! What I need is a little guidance on the measuring. I have his waist/hip measurements, but am not sure which size to choose from on the patterns. Waist is 39, hip is 44. The patterns goes by hip at 44 46,48. Any help which one to choose?? Thanks to all. Suemarie suemarie

Suemarie, If your son's hips are 44 and the pattern has a size 44 hip, I'd use that one. Check on inseam for pant length and compare his waist with the pattern waist of the 44 hip. Have fun! Bekka Bekka

Bekka, Thanks so much for the guidance with the hunting pants pattern. I did hold my breath as I made them however, they came out to the perfect measurements. Now I just have to stay up tonight to put some buttonholes/buttons on. Thanks again. Suemarie suemarie
