I used fabric glue on a pair of suit pants...new at that, when I was pinched for time and now I have no idea how to remove it. I think I used too much at that. If anyone has an idea on safe removal I would be forever grateful. The hubby is not very happy with me! Thanks!

Home Depot and Walmart used to sell a product called "Un-Du" adhesive remover, made specifically for that. Not sure if they still sell it so you might want to check it out.

Would nail polish remover work? It takes different adhesives off but I'd do it on a test piece first.

I bought some stuff called 'Glue Pins' which is a fabric glue that washes out as soon as it gets wet. I use it for a number of things that need tacking in place before I sew it. Another great produce is 'Wonder Tape' which you can press into place and doesn't gum up a needle, then it also washes out. True fabric glue tends to be permanent and is pretty hard to get out. Good luck!

Laura, I haven't seen those 2 items around here before-are you buying off line or locally? Sound like good items to have around.

I got both locally at one of our fabric shops. I have seen Wonder Tape at Joann's and I think you can get it online at Nancy's Notions
