My DD and I were shopping for the GD and found a Mexx top that was really cute, the seams were sewn up so that they were on the outside and all frayed. My daughter really liked it but it was quite expensive, so I decided to create some of my own. I have done 2 tops, a hot pink set trimmed in black and a pale blue top. I'm quite pleased with them and hope she likes them as well. When you don't have to finish off the seams or hems, it sure makes for quicker sewing. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v425/LauraBC/Sewing/?action=view¤t=Sept26003.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch1 http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v425/LauraBC/Sewing/?action=view¤t=Sept26001.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch2 Laura

Those are super cute!!! I love the flowers on the blue one. Is the pink one knit or fleece? Great job - and one lucky granddaughter!! |
