I'm relatively new at quilting, and I love looking at everyone's projects, especially the quilts. I'm just learning how to post links to a photobucket I started and thought I would share a few of my quilts and projects. Here's a few of my things:

Now let's see those quilts ladies and gentlemen!

Hey Jan, I think you need to do something to make the photos public. It's asking me to login and I don't use photobucket for my photos.

I'm partial to scrap quilts, coffee and mischief.

Sweatpea, I like your log cabin also. There was a fabric out with little sweetpeas and had sweetpea written in script along the vine. My daughter used it in a quilt that she made to represent herself (she picked out fabrics that resembled her friends and put it together for another friend that was transferring to another college).

I rather like the quilt of the black and white cat that you did. It looked soooo "real"!!!! ROFL!!!!!!

All of you have done a very, very nice job on your quilts. I don't feel that talented in the quilting department, so i can appreciate all the hard work and time you have put into making yours.

Patty I love your birds in the air quilt - every seems to be so much better than me at getting their points to work out right! Ah well, I enjoy the doing of it even if they are not perfect. The purple log cabin is lovely SweetPea.

My album should now be public so you can stare at my guts.

Jan, your Katie is GORGEOUS in her "faire" wear as well as her wedding photo.

Okay, besides the munchkin feet, I love the guts and the black and red 2003 quilt..... I can see that the UK cottage knitting industry is alive and well! :nah:

The birds in the air quilt was from a block exchange in 1994 from another online group. I have some great signature quilts from that group including two blue and white quilts (one a basket and one a lady of the lake). We ran the exchange by having at least twelve people in the block exchange and for each month one person would send out either directions with fabric or just directions for the block they wanted to everyone on the list. Then you would return the block to the person before the month was finished. It ran very smoothly and I had more fun making blocks that I might not have choosen for myself, but then fell in love with. Lots of fun!

I'm just curious Jan, have you ever heard of or been to Bambers? I have been doing some research on different sewing machines and came across their site (and REALLY reasonable prices on their machines).

Patty, KAtie has just given up the re-enacting and has given away her costume to a girl in her group who will wear it. The group she was in didn't do that period but once a year and she was cross at being made to spend £100 or so on material. I enjoyed researching and making the ruff/hat/partlet and other embellishment type things but the dress was a @&%$£ to make with no pattern but a picture drawn on a fag packet.

The red and black quilt was also for Katie and I tied dyed the majority of the fabric myself to get enough to bring the whole thing together. The black came out more like a marbled grey but it still looks OK.

My munchin feet are legendary.

As are the guts.

I don't have a photo of the womb.

I have never heard of/been to Bambers - it is 133 miles away - they are alien beings up there - no one would willingly go that far from home.

NativeTexan........some of your work reminds me of Nancy Crow.....maybe it's your use of color.

I wish the chaos in my life were as organized as your Chaos quilts!

You're a bit prolific ....... my kind of person!!

Yes, we are a very versatile!

Jan, regarding alien beings up north of you........ bwhahahahahahaha.........as Dorothy said "There is no place like home."

Well, most of you have probably seen all mine before, but here's my stuff. Not as full as the rest of you & I'm beginning to agree with others, that I need to start lurking more as I'm not getting much quilting done lately.
