If you do a search on this site for travel pillow or rice bag, you will find several threads with links to patterns, pictures and directions within the posts. Are you looking for a particular shape?

I have the directions for a small pillow that is good for traveling or watching t.v. These do not have the aromatherapy aspect but it could be added easily. It is a small 4 sided rectangle with squared ends. I found the pattern online but now I cannot find the site.

Thought about sneaking into a shop and drawing around one????

Think maths - inside diameter should be a circle of about 16" - total depth 6" at the back of the neck narrowing to 2 at the front.
C =Pi.d so d= 16/3.14 which is aprox 5" - draw a circle on a piece of paper with a radius of 2.5"
Draw another circle around (using the same centre) with a radius of 4 1/2".
Then draw another circle around this with a radius of 8 1/2".
You will now have a picture of a very regular looking fried egg. Cut the whole egg out (along the biggest circle)
Fold your 'egg' in half and half again and then unfold
Cut out 1/4 of the egg as marked by the fold lines. Cut out the 'yolk' as well (the inmost circle).
Using the second cicle as a guide round off the front neck edges of your pillow. You may want to fold it in half and cut both sides at once to keep symmetrical.
Gradually cut the outside edge in a curve back to the biggest circle (the cut line) About half of your original circle should be this wide.
Place your paper pattern around your neck and think whether you would want it bigger/smaller/ with a bigger neckhole and so on and adjust your pattern to suit you.
It may not be perfect but it is a jumping off point.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the pattern; I had planned to search my magazines to see if there was a pattern, and you saved me the problem. I think any man on my Christmas list will appreciate one of these. Now, for something for the ladies. Any bright ideas?

For the ladies: a neck pillow. I know more women that use these than men. They are great for migraines & stress headaches.

One year for Christmas gifts to women & men I made a whole bunch of neck pillows that you could heat or put in the freezer. Plus travel pillows & I embroidered on all the pillows. They are still useing them.
