i'm turning 40 in october and my great hubby just bought me a singer 401A from ebay!!!!!he doesn't know anything about sewing but he searched all by himself for a machine and then sent me a link saying what do you think about this.when i looked onto it it sounded great so the next thing i know he'd ordered it and other familly members are buying the accessories!!i love that its an all metal machine and sews thick fabric as my current cheap singer struggles with that.I'm doing flips here i'm so happy!!he's not a very "romantic" guy(we just had our 18 th wedding anniversary)so i'm totally impressed woooohooooo!!!!!!i had to share this with you guys as i knew you'd understand my excitement over a sewing machine
