Your back. How did it go. Did you fall on your face on the runway?
We want to know.

:nah: No Fall!! And it was fun, I didn't win anything:nah:(I really didn't expect to) but the expo was nice.
Now, trying not to sound nasty here... but I think Threads could have done a bit better of a job organzing the fashion show, it seemed very thrown together at the last minute (I used to help organize shows for 4-H clubs etc back in the dark ages and those ladies knew how to organize a group).
I felt sorry for a couple of ladies b/c you could tell this was HUGE for them (one lady and her husband drove all the way to Detroit from Maryland!) and I think Threads could have done something to make it a better experience for them. ie some time to practice, hear what was being read before hand so they could time their walk etc.
The best part was being backstage talking with all the people who made outfits and how they did it!!

I think just being there is a win, Jeanette.
We're all proud as heck of you.
Did you get any photos?

That sounds like such an experience. Would you perchance have a photo to post? It would be terrific to see you on the catwalk...........:bolt: I'm sure you looked great.

I forgot my camera at home!!! I realized it at the airport and then it was toooo late. Which is too bad b/c I would have loved to get pix of everyone backstage. One lady asked me if I was one of the young sewers :bg: So I have no pictures, isn't that just absolutely pathetic, and I was really just happy to go, it was fun all in all.
I love sewing shows too you just see so much neat stuff, get to look at all the machines every one (ie viking janome etc) has and watch them embroider, if you were going to buy a machine that would be the way to do it b/c a lot of the dealers have great prices (ie the janome coverstitch machine that is usually $1000 was $500 )
But if you are canadian don't buy from the US and vice versa b/c your warrenty will not be valid - even if the dealer says so, the only companies that will validate warrenties across international borders are for vehicles.

The threads dude was taking pix etc so they will eventually be on the website, but I have a feeling they may only post pix of the winners. C'est la vie.:dave:
