Blackie/Kelly-- I just had to tell you I got a kick out of your blog--particularly the part about the plain old ordinary messenger bag with the bitchin lining. You add a nice little drop or two of Tabasco Sauce to SWN  (I thought I can't be the only one who had something to say after reading an intro in that thread, and I was sure if I commented in that first thread, it'd get lost now that there have been so many intros!)

HI Jeanette. It is a small world indeed. I live along St Mary's Bay, area named Clare, if you are familiar with it.

I lived in Aylesford eons ago when I worked for Michelin Tires. I lived on the main highway not far from the corner.

The Annapolis Valley is one of my favorite spots that I have lived in. I lived in New Minas, Aylesford and Kentville before moving to Bedford with my now husband. WE then bought a trailor in Beaverbank Park in Lwr Sackville.

When DH got ill, we decided to move back to Clare to be near family as we had just found out that I was expecting our first born. That was 17.5 yrs ago.

Have you ever been to Clare? People say how wonderful the drive is as it follows the ocean.

:Canada: I had the great fortune to take the ferry from Portland Me. to Yarmouth with my wonderful Aunt Kay this summer. We stayed overnight in Yarmouth and traveled up to my cottage in Antigonish along the ocean route. It was a bright August Saturday and all along Acadia and the Valley people were yardsailing and selling fresh fruit and vegetables. The flower gardens along the way were beautiful and lush. We made some wonderful stops along the way. While I'm thankful for the TransCanada and all the highway improvements, I really enjoyed seeing Nova Scotia close up. Sadly, my Aunt died unexpectedly in September so I'll cherish the memories of that wonderful drive.

Well Terri, if you drove on the scenice route of the Evangeline Trail along the ocean, then you drove by my place. To bad we didn`t know of each other as I would have gladly opened my house to you for a coffee and a chitchat.

.....wait, maybe not, as we were in Halifax as my DH had his liver transplant and 6 wks was spent there instead of home. OH well, the house would have been opened to you just the same.

You should see the Annapolis Valley now with all the wonderful colors of the leaves on each mountain. Must admit, as much as I hate to see fall come as it means winter is on its way, it is one of the most colorful time of the year.
