Welcome to Sew Whats New. I know you will enjoy your time with us. The focus of our site is to inspire, educate and encourage everyone in their sewing, quilting and crafting endeavours.

There are a few requests I make of everyone who visits.

Certain topics are just not appropriate for this site. I will ask everyone not to bring them up here.

1. Sex - There are loads of other sites where this can be discussed, we are family oriented so sex is off limits.

2. Politics - Everyone has their own opinion. So do I but we won't discuss our political views here. It's a quick way to start a war and there is enough of that in this world just now.

3. Religion - Each one of us has our own personal beliefs. This is one other topic that is best left off the site. Many other places will welcome your religious views or prayer requests.

No flaming, arguing or intentional rudeness will be tolerated. If I have to step in and end an argument then that should be the end of it. If it continues, posters will be banned, no matter who they are or how long they have been a member.

PLEASE no advertising on the site. If your signature includes a website that offers something to sell, don't post it on these forums. If you have something sewing or quilting related to sell, post on the Fabrics/Machines/Other For Sale forum. That is the ONLY forum that will allow advertising. I am allowing it for free, so at least have the decency to post in the proper place.

Thank you for your co-operation in these matters.

MaryW,
I have just joined the sew what's new forum. I am looking forward to reading and posting. I have recently purchased a 9500 sewing machine and learning to do machine embroidery. I know all of you can give me worlds of information that will help me with this. Addlee
