Did anyone see the episode recently of Dr. Phil's son getting married. The bride was blonde and gorgeous (of course) with a really elegant gown. Strapless and the bodice was very structured. I really liked the dress, most of them are too much for my liking.

The attendants were all in purple halter top type dresses and the mother of the groom was in red. Apparently Caroline Herrera designed it for her.

I saw that episode, Mary! The dresses all were very pretty. I liked the unusual sort of plum color of the bridesmaid's dresses.

Yes Mary it certainly was something ! Am I in the minority in finding it extremely ostentatious ?

You are not in the minority. What a fantasy! Marry a gorgeous triplet!! Sorry, but lets see what the "real" life will be. She did seem sweet (the bride) but I frankly was put off some myself w/the whole thing. Why didn't they interview her parents? Seemed to be all about Robin! The gushing just gets to me after a while.

I really wanted to hear the "why" this was such a "match" regarding values, etc. Mostly about THE event and the trimmings. Material.

Ok, sour grapes. I wish them a long and happy life...really

Don't you find weddings are like that sometimes? Kinda gushy and not quite real life. I thought the attendants dresses were drop dead gorgeous. I didn't see a flower girl tho.

I find it wierd that the moral factor of Dr. Phil's ideas that they made such a big deal of his son getting married. She is a triplet from my state and the only reason she is famous for is doing triplet poses in playboy.

Good luck to the couple (also gorgeous wedding) but still odd combination of lifestyles, or Dr. Phil's family is different then he tells everyone else to be.
