I need a Cdn supplier to provide a large order of webbing, drawstring, cord stops and grommets for a reasonable price. I also need a Cdn supplier to provide 100m of waterproof nylon fabric 60" wide at approx $5-7/m. I already have quotes coming from Textile Outfitters in Calgary and Sundrop Textiles in Coquitlam. I have one local guy I will talk to on Tuesday. Any suggestions out there?? I don't think my local Fabricland will work with me to get such a large order and I don't want to be wandering around to 10 different stores. I also need to have the stuff by Mid Oct (nothing like short notice - right?)

What about phoning Taiga in Vancouver - they make their own things and may sell some fabric and supplies to you or know someone who will? When they first opened (on 2nd or 4th ave, not sure) their shop was their factory.
Good luck

Hi Laura,
If you haven't already located a supplier for the items noted, you may want to contact CSC Textiles http://www.cscTextiles.com. They ship within Canada (from Canada) and within the US (from the US), and carry Sportlight and Extra-Lite Nylon Fabric (although they are 58" wide), and the Drawstrings and Cord-locks (although not listed in the website). I hope that helps.:pc:

I got tired of tramping around the net trying to get information, so I went to one of our local guys who gave me such an incredible deal on everything!!!! I think I have just found my favorite fabric store!!! If anyone gets to Mission BC, head down to Hooge's Fabrics, he has a ton of stuff, huge rolls, everything you can think of, and some absolutely wipe the drool off your face gorgeous wools for suits or pants. I'm heading back on Tuesday with more money!!
