I am planning on buying the Janome 4900 next month. I love to applique and make cloths so it seems like the right choice. I have looked at Singer, Babylock, and Pfaff but I like the Janome machine the best. Does anyone have a 4900QC? Do you like yours?

The sales person seemed to dislike the 4900 because he said he had a hard time threading it. I threaded it twice with no difficulty but he could not get it threaded. He said he preferred the 6600 or the 4800 because of the threading. Basically, he tried to talk me into buying the 6600 but I don't like flat bed machines and I don't do much actual quilting or embroidery so it did not seem like such a great choice to me.

Please help if you can.

Thanks for the link. I had already looked at those. Just looking to get more opinions. I like the machine but I always like to hear from as many people as possible about it. :re:
