Here is one I made, I used binding on the armholes and for the straps, I used elastic at the neck. hope it helps!

exactly. I had some directions from some website but I changed it because I didn't like the idea of the ribbon around the neck. Maybe I'm overprotective, but it seemed like a strangulation hazzard for my little girl :dave: .

Sorry I don't have a better picture.

Kate she is beautiful. I love her little dress. Ck you will be addicted to these dresses you will not be able to make enough. The white ones also make a great beach pic.

I'm so glad it worked for you! One of the things that are great about these dresses is that they can wear them for a couple years. I think Kate wasn't even 2 years old in that picture, she is 3.5 now and it still fits her, a bit shorter and the pants are now capris but it still looks great!

My Dad was in the Navy and stationed @ St. Charles or around there. I was young so I dont remember much about it.
I Know I have had a pillow case dress for Lizzy that she still wears from when she was about 18 months. They do fit forever because she will be 4 in Jan. I went to a boutique in town a few months back and they were asking over $100.00 for these things and it takes no time to make them once you get the hang of it. I havealso seen them made into peasent style dresses and they are cute too. I am glad you are enjoying them and I hope to see pics soon.

I know exactly where St. Charles is! I live maybe 45 minutes from there in Cary (Near Crystal Lake, noone's ever heard of Cary LOL). I have a friend who lives in St. Charles, we usually take meet up halfway and take the kids to Randall Oaks petting Zoo or to Spring Hill Mall:bg:

I've lived in Illinois my entire life (44 years) and I know where St. Charles & Cary are, as well as a few other places. Have friends & relatives that live in close proximity to those areas. I love those pillow case dresses. Just wish I had someone to make them for! My DD is going to be 9 in December and they won't fit her.....even if I could convince her to wear a dress! LOL!
