I think that this question has been asked here before, but I couldn't find it in the search. I am looking for a really easy pattern for a peasant shirt. I am pretty sure that there is one floating around that uses just basic rectangles for the shirt and the sleeves, and then adding elastic to the neckline and sleeves. Anyone??? PLEASE!!! I am looking for something like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/janetkayez/HPIM3221.jpg I am making Clara's pirate girl costume and need to make this shirt for it. Thanks!!! Janet

I have two patterns that I've used for a peasant top. Simplicity 5695 which looks most like the picture (I shorten it to top length instead of dress) And simplicity 5222 (I don't like the directions for the neck on e so I do it a bit different) Wendy
