| So excited. My name is Ivrie and I live near the Central Coast in California. I have to say taht I'm a very beginner beginner when it comes to sewing. I have a beginner machine and am self taught. I've attempted heming my own pants and making a few things here and there. I really would like to learn more, but have a hard time finding a sewing class near by. I hope to get tips, ideas and just chat w/you all! |

Hi Ivrie from a fellow Californian. I'm down in the mtns outside of San Diego but we go to SLO, Morro Bay, etc. often when we want to get away. Love it up there. Welcome and you'll love it here. Bunches of info and kind hearted souls. c'ya, Lennie |

Hello from a former Californian (was born in Burbank, lived in Bakersfield and Alameda, but left CA when I was about 4 years old. I've been back to visit a couple times ) I now live in southeast Florida (there were a couple stops in between). Glad you've joined us, I'm sure you'll find lots of friendly, helpful people here.

Hey I'm a Californian! Well originally, from the San Francisco bay area, Pacifica  Lived their my whole life up till 3 years ago Me and my boyfriend, of 7 years  decided to move to fabulous Las Vegas

Hi Cali I'm not from California - I'm not even from America! I'm English living in Glasgow, Scotland. I'm also new to the site (in the last week) and so far everyone has been great in regards to my constant queries and questions (thank you ladies very much). I'm newish to sewing - on/off for 20+ years but am attempting to get back into it with gusto and I love the feeling of it. I'm positive you will have a lot of fun on here. With blessings Charlotte |

Hi Ivrie! Welcome. Feel free to ask questions! My sister used to live in San Diego...wish she still did, I miss my monthly jaunts over there to spend time on the beach with free housing! LOL
