Hello to everyone from Thibodaux, LA. I've been lurking here and getting lots of great info and good vibes while waiting for my registration to go through. I'm a 50 yr old returning to sewing after a very long time. I have not sewed garments since I was in high school! Most of my sewing since that time has been curtains, drapes and other home dec projects. When my old temperamental Singer died while making drapes recently, I decided it was time for a new machine. WOW! How things have changed! I chose the Babylock Ellure and that led to a nice new sewing table..then dedicating a spare bedroom to my new hobby. Ya'll know the rest..I'm now a confirmed sewaholic, stash and everything. It's great to be amongst friends!

Oh my gosh, Ami! I can't believe I have a neighbor here! I have a 2yr old grandson, but haven't sewn anything for him yet. I do want to sew something cute for him and also use the embroidery on my machine. I've taken the demonstration class, but haven't tackled it on my own yet. Sewing for your girls must be so rewarding. Nice to meet you.
