My 7 yo dd Halloween costume for school today.
( I made and embroidered her dress. )
Their school requires they dress as book characters and give an oral book report for Halloween.

Its hard to see her pocket, "mr Nelson" (the monkey) is blocking it in the picture, but I embroidered Pippi in different colored letters there so everyone would know she is Pippi Longstocking.

That is tooo cute!! My oldest DD was Pippi one year, it is a fun costume. I love the hair - we did the same thing using coat hangers through her braids.

Thank you :)
I just braided double strands of florists wire into the pigtails along with her hair. Pipe cleaners would work great, too.

That came out adorable! I loved Pippi when I was about her age.

My son said he is to old to wear his costume to school:shock:
