Hi
can anyone tell me if I can get nylon pack cloth at Joanne's or Wal-marts or a fabric store. I have never used it and a pattern I am using is calling for it.

thank you

There is a sport nylon on the Joann site. Not sure if that's what you need or not.

I may be really late for you, but try http://www.therainshed.com/. They have nice fabric. Nylon ripstop is really nice, doesn't tear very easily though is slippery to work with. I have used it for a snowboarding jacket and mitts and now have some for a jacket for myself to get sewn up.

If you don't mind Canadian, try http://www.justmakeit.com/about/who.html. They also have great fabric and will send swatches to see the different weights. (Textile Outfitters in Calgary Alberta)
