Hi

I would like to make a double irish chain quilt for a Christmas gift but cannot find complete instruction. (how much material to buy to cutting instructions and diagram). I have found cutting and sewing instructions but not how much material to buy. Can't have one without the other.

If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

You can take the amount needed for scraps and just convert that to one fabric.

Try a google search for irish chain quilt instructions and you'll be surprised at all the hits.

Hi Patty22

Thank you so much for the reply and especially for the calculator. That will definitely come in handy to figure out how much material I'm going to need.

I had searched the internet but asked for patterns not instructions, so will try that next.

Once again, thanks so much for your info.
