I just bought a Baby lock serger a few years ago... I realy need to get sewing again ...I need to start one project... even if I only work for 5 minutes on something ...I need to get back at it as I realy do enjoy it... i think I will start a I spy Quilt for the DGS's ...I will leave it in the trailor for them to play with when there with me ...how hard can that be !!.I will serge the whole thing Brenda

Hey Bren that serger wasn't in Louisiana was it? LOL Just wondering. I'm glad you got it back, now all you need is a room for yourself to sew in. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA???????????????? In case everyone doesn't know this one of Bren's ex sister in law's lives about 2 miles down the road from me. What a coincidence that was. And she's here all the way from Canada. I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Hey Susie ...it's not from Judie- anne...It's from her sister Ruth...and a bunch of serger thread...3 boxes full of thread's... material...lace...slip material... tones of pattern's ... for slips camisoles...I gave it to her ...and got it all back...was very good of her...13 years ago...I was so surprised. ...I sarted a I spy quilt last night ...but need to buy more material to finish it ...sure takes a lot off squares ...I took a course a long time ago on making Langerie( sp)...realy enjoyed it and it is so easy to do ...

I was wondering what an I Spy quilt was. I just sit in awe looking at everyone's work. I am just starting out and wonder if I will ever be able to do THAT kind of sewing! Judy, great quilts besides the I spy one!!! Loved looking at your pics. I love this sight, so much sharing and kindness! That I spy quilt is a really cool idea for kids! Might try one someday!

Cowqueenie, those are not my quilts. I wish they were! I just googled to find an example of an I Spy quilt to show and posted a link to that site. Here is one that someone has written instructions. It's a good one for a beginner to try. http://quiltville.com/ispya4patch2.shtml TTFN from
