I just read on another list that Burda is coming out with a line of patterns for husky kids. They are Burda Maxi-Kids styles. Same hip trendy stuff but patterns are graded for beefier kids not necessarily a lot taller. This has got to be good news for those sewing for husky kids. My son was always hard to fit, he was as wide as long for the first few years. MaryW

Wonderful! My granddaughter is 3 1/2 and is into size 6x-7 already and I just don't think 3 yr olds need to be wearing some of that suggestive clothing-of course neither do kids that are "normally" that size-they are too young but sure don't need it on a 3yr old! Will be nice to be able to sew for her again.

I have had to buy the "plus" girls patterns for my GD for some time now..The big three all have them, so I get them on 99 cents specials from Hancocks.. I keep a list in my purse of the ones I want, and when they go on sale, I am ready to buy..

Good idea Libby....I'll have to do some looking. Was shopping today and finally found some tops in a 6x for her that i'm hoping will fit for Christmas-and they were in the little kids dept so not too "old" for her. I'd make her some skirts but she's not into "girly" things too much. I'll have to actually take the time to look at the pattern books.
