Hi.
I have been posting occasionally but have not introduced myself formally. So here goes. I am a married mother of 14 yo twins and a 6 yo. I should be spending my time on my professional fine art career,(landscape painter, monotypes)but I think about sewing all the time.

I really love to sew my "uniform" which is a knit top/jacket/hoodie with a matching long skirt. I love to sew knits and I have dabbled in quilting.

I sew for my petite daughter and my plus sized best friend.
I get Burda WOF and collect way too many patterns. I also have Patternmaster Boutique v.3
I really like Kwik Sew of all the commercial patterns because their block fits me really well with the fewest alterations.

I've been to Nova Scotia AND Newfoundland! We just fell in love with Newfoundland although it's not a place where I would bring a tent. Definitely hard-sided trailer territory.

I guess that's enough for now. Thanks, Mary for hosting this site. I have been a bit of a stray cat since Sewing World went down.
Nice meeting you all.
