Not knowing what's available in your area, I'd start with the dealer you purchased the machine from. All the machine dealers in my area have resources for repair people.

Cindy, Sheila is right, the selling dealer is probably the best place. However being a White there is a good chance it was purchased through a chain like JoAnns or over the internet. If that is the case you'll need to just look in the phonebook. Theres not really anyway to know how good their repairman is but any repairman will be able to fix whatever is wrong with a 1415. Charges should be about the same anywhere you go.

After waiting 6 months for my Kenmore 19000 to come back from the repair shop,it is still not working.I took it to them because the fuse blew. After over 500.00 worth of parts it is pulling up the thread from the bobbin and not filling in the design.Does anyone know what the problem might be?I think I have purchased a LEMON.Please help if you can.....

The probems you describe would have nothng to do with the previous "fuse" problem. (actually a blown fuse is not a problem... it just means the fuse tried to do what it is supposed to which is to blow and protect the electronic components). Make sure you are using a good needle and check the threading. If these are good, it is a good design, and you are properly hooped and stabilized the machines hook is probably out of time or the needlebar height is incorrect.

Thanks so much for your info,I did replace the need,re-threaded and made sure everything was stablized, however that didn't correct the problem so I have taken it back again...Guess by the time it's fixed I could have purchased a new machine.I have so much software that I need to get it fixed.Again thanks Vickki
