I am in the process of emb. 40 long sleeved shirts. The part I've always hated most was placement. Moving the bottom hoop around inside the shirt and then getting the stabilizer on it and to get it all to stay in one place while fighting the fabric was always a headache. Luckily I stumbled on this tip early on this project. What I do now is simple. I place the stabilizer in the bottom hoop, put the top hoop in place and loosely tighten it. I then place it all inside the shirt and move it to the approximate spot. I then pull out the top hoop and usually have very little adjustment to make with the bottom hoop. It's made a big difference to me. Maybe this will help someone else??? Lennie |

Thats a good tip Lennie. Thats how I do it with "Stickey" but I'd never thought of it when using other stabizers. I almost alway use an iron on but even then your method would work.
Have fun or don't do it, Tom

Thanks for your praise, Tom. I've always respected your posts and am grateful for your comment. Isn't it fun when the left side of your brain kicks in unexpectedly???? I'm not usually one to "think outside the box". I'm so new to embroidery too! Lennie |
