I was at a local quilt shop and I heard staff talking with a salesman in from North Carolina that the color for 2007 is................................................ .. RED.

Now, isn't it fortuitous our 2007 block swap will be so trendy??

OH goodness NO!!!! I hate being trendy. I have always put out the extra effort to go against the crowd. Well I guess if I make my blocks in December and wait to sew it together until sometime in '08 I will not be part of the "trendy crowd".

Gina............rest assured not everyone is jumping on the trendy wagon.

Case in Point...........none of the fabrics order for the quilt shop that day were "red". Lots of color groups of different lines and the ladies ordering didn't pick the reds. :) ( Also, hard to think about the Christmas 2007 prints already.)

HOWEVER, we're still trying to stir up some extra swappers for the RW&U for 2007. :re:
