I finally finished my pants. I love how they feel, very comfortable. No binding, no bagginess. Just a good fit. I made a size D for the back and E for fronts. This is to make room for a pot belly. I added a half inch to inner leg for full thighs. I took hips in by half inch becuz I don't have any. Built like a door. These were adjustments Sandra explains how to make with her patterns. I will make this pattern again. I like it because there is no waistband, just darts. Now that I have the adjustments noted I can make up a pair in no time. These were made from stretch denim. Next time I think they will be made from hemp. It's been in my stash for a while now. MaryW

Hey Mary...good job. Thats the pattern I had fitted with Sandra. Your pattern alterations sound similiar to the ones she suggested I make. So could you just make a photocopy and mail it to me!!!

Judy, better yet, just send her the fabric and your measurements!! I have the same pattern, but haven't gotten up the courage to even take it out of the envelope yet. Mary, do they sit at your waist, or a little lower? I'd prefer lower but not low rise.

Yes, they sit at your waist. But, Sandra gives directions if you want lower or higher than natural waistline.
