Well I'm not a redneck but I can relate to the food we use in our recipes. ERSTERS (oysters) in my gumbo not to mention other wild things in there. OUGGGGGG yummy. What is everyone fixing for Turkey day? We better start a new thread for that one. LOL Naomi you don't know what you're missing living down in the south. After dinner we can go out and play baseball with shorts on............ can you do that? :dave: :dave: :dave:  Nah not really this year it's going to be nice. I'll only have to turn on the air conditioner when the turkey goes in the oven.
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

It was 80 degrees in Dallas today. The couple that hosted the dinner we attended let all the kids go swimming in their pool. That was a first for me!

WHoaaaa Shelly that is a first for me too........Swimming?????. It was in the lower 70's today here and ice on the ground this morning. I miss my pool but we never was able to swim in Nov. Usually after my grandson's birthday party in early Sept we closed her up and put the cover on. We sat outside after eating and watched my grandson that just got his arm out a cast for 8 weeks bust his head on the concrete on a skate board. He was in the emergency room all afternoon. Thank heavens it wasn't anything serious except for a huge knot on his head. Instead of a helmet I think the child needs a bubble suit made of rubber. Have everyone in the US had a happy day.
