I have seen some pretty stitching designs on top of the quilts....I take it you have to have a template and trace this onto your quilt tops....But where do you find the templates to make those beautiful stitching's?????:monkey:

Many quilt sites have them listed, sometimes under notions.

Try these - I love the quiltmaker site. - have some wonderful ones for children's quilts and most are quite simple. If you want to find more - use term 'motif' when searching.

You can buy then at Wally World (if they still have a fabric dept), JoAnn's, Hancock, your local quilt shop...

If you would like a little bit more variety as well as the ability to reduce/enlarge designs you can browse the quilting books at your fabric store. They should have design line books. You will have to trace them, though. Here are a few:quilting design titles (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/104-9996063-5403963?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=quilting+designs). By the way, have you seen the Ultimate Quilt Pounce (http://http://goldenthreads.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=GT&Product_Code=MC+Combo&Category_Code=NOT) made available by Golden Threads. The marks stay until they are ironed away; I saw it demonstrated on QNN......cool:cool: Great for stencils!
