I recently replaced my bedside clock radio. The old one had a nice grey LCD light that indicated the time. When I bought the new one I unwrapped it, set it up, threw out the papers and admired it...... until I turned out the lights. It has a neon bright blue LCD light that makes my bedroom seem like I am on Broadway! I put a piece of 'stick to itself' plastic across the face but it is blue and did nothing to subdue the light. Any suggestions? *~*~*~* Nancy*~*~*~* " I try to take one day at a time - but sometimes several days attack me at once."

Hey Nancy I got a clock for Christmas last year like that, I loved the large numbers, but the light was a killer. UNTIL I realized that there was a dimmer switch for it. Double check, maybe you have one too...Good luck!!

I have looked for a switch such as this Debbie but can't find one or one indicated in instructions. Any hints as to where it is? My daughter suggested putting a scarf over it, but I do want to see the time at night - when I am awake for hours and want to know for how long!!

Hey Nancy, I have the capability of setting two different alarms, all switches on the left side. I found the switch to dim the light there as well. Let me know if you find some relief.
