I returned to sewing about two years ago after not sewing from 30 years. I have enjoyed learning about the new fabrics, machines, and tools by going to sewing expos, reading books and watching DVD/videos, and membership is sewing websites. I sew both garments and slipcovers for myself and family on a Pfaff 2056 sewing maching and Pfaff 4872 serger. Two of my DIL and wanting new curtins and drapes, so I'll be adding that to my skill set soon. During the day I work as a computer network administrator and crave more time to sew. We have a large family with lots of grandkids and they all love for me to sew for them and I love it too. I look forward to joining this community of sewers.

Hi, Jean! Welcome!

My home town is Little Rock and I miss it! I lived in Dallas for 10 years and now I'm in northern Virginia.

JustSewCrafty, hubby and I went to college in Searcy!

This is a great board; you will like it here.
