Thanks Stephi! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of little Kendall! My dd goes to the dr tomorrow so we'll see if she's progressed any. Baby drops and then moves back up-can't decide if she wants to come out or not. I'm so ready to hold that tiny baby I can't stand it!!!

I'll let you all know when she arrives.

Yes Yes yes let us know. I can't wait to see that ticker with "0" days to go. I posted somewhere else about it must not be long and then I read this post. Hug him for me.

We just found out that my baby son is going to have another one also. Just found out yesterday. Mid July is her due date. Seems like I just went throught this waiting game now I'm doing it again.
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Thanks all! We are hoping for a baby this week yet but my dd saw the Dr. today and the stripped her membranes, she's 90% effaced but only 2 1/2 cm dialted and the baby is still high so...not holding out much hope but still hoping. I feel so sorry for my dd-she's just plain worn out and tired of being pg and so disappointed today-she's been 2- 2 1/2 cm dilated for 3 weeks now and she has tons of braxton hicks contractions so she's feeling down that nothing is doing any good. I keep telling her that baby will come when she's ready! She forgets this is her first baby I think and a good portion run late!

I'll be sure to keep you all posted, you can be sure there will be a picture up -sooner than later I hope! LOL

One of my editors' wife just had her third emergency C-section. The baby was very early this time and is still in the hospital. Past touch and go but not ready to go home yet. Tell your daughter to hold out and put up with the darn kid for a little while. It could be worse.
Good practice for the next 30 years.

That last month is soooo long.

Why can't I get a grandbaby?

I keep telling her that Dorothy. Just hang in there, the baby will come when she's ready. I know she's so tired of being pg and she's very depressed this afternoon since there hasn't been much change.....I think she forgets too that it's her first one and they don't very often come early.

I'd give you one of my grandkids Dorothy but I love them too much-guess you'll have to find your own. LOL

Hmmm, sound very familiar, especially if it is a girl!:dave: I was in the EXACT same dilema almost 9 years ago, except was only dialted to 1. That was on a Tuesday (stripped membranes, baby up & down). Lost my plug on Thursday (Christmas day -- woohoo I thought), waterbag broke on Friday AM. Hurried to hospital to find out I was still only 1 cm. Needless to say, when I finally delivered my daughter on Sat. (on 12/27) I was STILL only 1 cm. I had a c-section. So, patience, patience, patience! Tough to tell a 9 month (isn't it reallly 10 months :dave: ) woman she has to wait! I should also say that my son was 10 days late, but my daughter arrived the day before my due date.

Keep us posted! I love hearing about babies and seeing all those precoius pictures!!

No advancement on the baby front today. Sara lost her plug a couple weeks ago and nothing. She's had 2 contractions since the stripping and that's it. Baby is still up-dd has decided the baby's nickname is now Tigger cuz she bounces (after all, that's what tiggers do best-up/down, etc) LOL.
