I purchased a lovely semi-sheer cotton online. It has stripes across the width of the fabric. Half of the width has a woven textured stripe, and the stripes are various widths. The other half of the fabric is a fine thin stripe with a overall floral print.

After looking at it closely, I realized it was going to be a challenge to cut this pattern out and have the pieces all match properly.

I had to make a slight change to the lower sleeve, otherwise there wouldn't have been enough fabric. I must have walked around my cutting table twenty times before I got it right. I am going to start sewing today. Wish me luck.

I hate that when you go to lay something out and it suddenly occurs to you "What WAS I thinking!?"

I hate it worse, when its already cut out!! My DH wanted patch pockets on his work vest, and I wanted to line them with flannel. Made the first one, great, the 2nd one, was exactly the same as the first, not the opposite, so into the garbage, made the 3rd, yup, did the same thing, so into the garbage, made the 4th v...e...r...y s...l...o...w...l...y and got it right, 4th time lucky!
