Thanks so much for your input on the Karate belt. I went to the 100/16 and removed the lengthwise stitches from the belt in the area where I was sewing. In 3000 stitches it only skipped 3 or 4 stitches.

Tom, I appreciate the info on checking the machine. I will do that just as soon as I get back to using the machine.

I don't feel like I'm on another planet with these problems when there are so many willing and helpful folks like yourself. It really boosts my confidence.
