My friend, John, made the block and it was before our door was painted orange.

The block makes me laugh everytime I see it. Maybe I wouldn't laugh if I was five, but since I'm quite mature at six, I can handle the Santa joke.

Now I know why Santa doesn't get to my house...he hurt himself when he dropped in at yours! :bg:

Judy, don't worry, I'll make sure he gets to your house! I fixed him up really good here.....a few Aleve, a little TLC and the old elf is good to go.

Sure Dorothy....lots of poppy seed bread.

Talking about Santa......he was just robbed!

I was running out the door to get the Fed Ex man before he left (the box he just delivered was tampered with and empty...the delivery man even commented that he never delivered such a light package) ...........then the dog ran out the door. And in the mad shuffle I fell on my face on the drive way and slid my chin and front teeth along the pavement.

If I would not have broken my front teeth when I was nine I would certainly have lost my teeth again. My crowns are throbbing as I type and my chin is blowing up.

Someone must have known what was in the package and it was an easy steal for them (an iPod). Apple was nice on the phone and hopefully it will be replaced in time, but I look terrible.

I have to get to the grocery store and then pick up my son from work and I just don't want to be seen in public with red eyes, red nose, and weeping blown -up chin.

Where is my sense of humor when I need it?

How about a grocery sack with eyes cut out! I have to go over to thankful thread and post that I am thankful for Aleve (and you Dorothy!).

Patty...I think you've got your sense of humor back. I could send you a sack...but it might not get there in time to help.

Ouch! I hope you're feeling better now Patty. And I hope you get another iPod in time.

The Santa block is cute! Looks like he's been in the egg nog. :bg:
