Susie's not the only one who got a new car for Xmas. We took our Mini Cooper to Albany for regular servicing and ended up coming home with a brand new Mini Cooper S. We got a great deal with the trade in. The S is the sportier, speedier version that my husband has talked about since we got the other one. He is the one who really wanted it but I am the one who will drive it the most, so I am very happy. I have new wheels and don't have to worry about a gift for my husband. Life is pretty good right now. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/DorothyLong/Mini.jpg Dorothy |

Ah Dorothy - thanks for the picture. My new grandson's name is Cooper. When he was born several of his father's friends took to calling him mini Cooper. And another not so great name which you can probably imagine. I have thought of making something and making a mini Cooper applique on it, but didn't have a picture!! Now I do.

Kath -- That's why we traded up to the S. It's the one with the power. This is the last year for the S. The next ones are TURBO!! It still looks like a little putt-putt (I want a big wind up key to put on the top) but drives like a sports car. I was happy with the regular Mini but my husband likes to play Italian Job. Dorothy |

I didn't even notice that. It's also in March. I took the picture yesterday. I guess I should do something with the settings on the camera. I'm not so good as settings on electronics. I like push the button and it works kind of things. Dorothy |

ahhh so he is really Michael Caine, not a lot of people know that... A school friend of Tony's had a Mescerschmidt Bubble car to which he fitted a large cardboard key to the roof. He was stopped by the police and made to take it off.. love and kisses, Jan

Very cute little car. Too small for me though, I like the big SUV's as evidenced by my Pathfinder
